Hong Kong Male Waxing

Milenio 3 Iker Jimenez and honor the professor at the Cadena Ser Fassmer

At the time I came through the phone's voice Iker Jimenez family after having heard so many programs, but never speaking to me, I knew the interview would be different from how many I had done . The voice, the words of Iker transmit enthusiasm, warmth, empathy only comparable to that extraordinary communicator who was Felix Rodriguez de la Fuente. Their enthusiasm encourages empathy breaks barriers and inviting sincerity.

immediately remembered that interview that made my father the Catalan writer Josep M ª Espinás in 1989. Professor Fassmer was then 78 years and nearly 60 interviews on their backs. Had maintained until then, with the press a cordial relationship hostility. The journalists said they knew what they expected to hear, whether or not true, and deliberately played forgetfulness when the questions got too close to your privacy. Josep M ª Espinás, however, everything was different, so different that even today amazes me that José Mir Rocafort take off that day, the mask Fassmer, and talk on television, with quiet directness, his mother, of his childhood, of his countrymen. The personality and style of thorns are different from Iker Jiménez. What does, however, that both get interviewed disarm the prejudices of bringing him into the realm of confidence? Maybe that empathy is perceived sincere, impost, without a trace of hypocrisy?

Fermín Agustí, producer of the program, I had asked a selection of audio Fassmer teacher to illustrate the interview. I chose pieces that memorable program of "Identities" before knowing the course that would take questions. I could not have chosen better. The journey and outcome were essentially the same as my father lived that day twenty years ago.

Iker Jiménez Fassmer teacher spoke with surprising respect and admiration in a young researcher of the mystery. The researchers of his generation are shown, usually reluctant to look back to an era that considered contaminated by subjectivity and overcome thanks to the hard, icy scientist who has killed the magic. Iker asked with eager curiosity of a child, things the child was lonely and tortured José Mir Rocafort, seeking a way to understand the mentalist and hypnotist who wowed audiences inside and outside the theaters, with the pseudonym Fassmer. This trend to drill down to discover and know that, surely, goes his career, rebels clearly when he confesses that the photograph Iker Fassmer most impressed and is concerned is one in which the mind is reflected in a mirror with a look of such intensity that very few had dared to look into his eyes. Iker dares to look you in the mirror looking for the man hiding under the stage makeup.

I could not help thinking, sadly, how much would have enjoyed talking with Iker Jiménez Fassmer.

From here thanks to that brilliant community that entertains and stimulates our curiosity and equipment that, at dawn on Sunday, rounded out the interview glossing Fassmer figure unstinting praise. To all, our heartfelt thanks.
